V/A - International P.E.A.C.E. Benefit Compilation

Remember when we really believed that a nuclear war between the U.S. and Russia really might happen? And we also believed that we could actually do something about it by playing loud fast music? Well in 1985 M.D.C. vocalist Dave Dictor's label R Radical Records got together with the gents at MRR and compiled the massive International  P.E.A.C.E. compilation with 55 hardcore bands, over half of which were from outside the U.S. There was also a 72 page booklet included with info on their causes as well as band info. All the songs were political in nature and the proceeds went to anti-nuclear organizations. A very impressive package to say the least. The comp was re-released in 1997 with 5 extra tracks. This is the version I've supplied here.
